Cezar Ferreira vs. Daniel Sarafian Still Planned

UFC executive Marshall Zelaznik revealed last night that the fight between Cezar Ferreira and Daniel Sarafian that fell apart for last night's UFC 147 due to an injury on Sarafian's part is still being targeted for a later show. Sarafian's return date is unknown but Zelaznik said that the fight is absolutely still in the mix.

"I can tell you that post-fight, (UFC president) Dana (White) mentioned to me that he looks forward to seeing [Sarafian] fight 'Mutante' to try and gain sort of what was taken from him through the injury," Zelaznik said. "I expect that fight to happen at some point in the future."

Ferreira beat Sergio Moraes last night at UFC 147. Zelaznik did not say when the Ferreira vs. Sarafian bout may happen.
