Cole Konrad, former NCAA wrestling champion and current Brock Lesnar training partner, has signed on with Bellator Fighting Championships. Reports say that Konrad will compete in 2 non-tournament fights in Bellator's upcoming second season, and if he is successful he will earn a spot in the season 3 heavyweight tournament.
"I'm excited to sign with Bellator," Konrad said after the announcement. "It's a great opportunity to fight for a great company, and I'm just really excited for what the future holds with this company."
