UFC Returning To Sweden On April 6

The UFC announced today in an official release that they will returning to Stockholm, Sweden for an event on April 6. The event will be held at the Ericsson Globe Arena. The event will be headlined by Alexander Gustafsson facing former Strikeforce light heavyweight champion Gegard Mousasi.

Regarding the event, UFC Executive Vice President and Managing Director EMEA, Gary Cook, stated: "Sweden is an incredible market for the UFC and we're excited to once again bring a major UFC card to the Ericsson Globe Arena. Alexander Gustafsson is a big star in Sweden and has quickly grown in popularity worldwide thanks to his success in the Octagon. We know the fans in Sweden will make the Ericsson Globe Arena an absolutely electric atmosphere as he takes on the very talented Gegard Mousasi on April 6."

Tickets will go on to the public on Saturday, February 9. UFC Fight Club members will have access to an advanced ticket pre-sale on Thursday, February 7 at ufcfightclub.com. UFC newsletter subscribers will be able to get tickets through a special internet ticket pre-sale on Friday, February 8.
