Dana White Talks Conor McGregor & more!
Dana White recently spoke to UFC.com about the contenders in the UFC Featherweight Division. Here is what he had to say… “Especially with all the excitement in that division with Conor McGregor, Cub Swanson and Frankie Edgar – that division is so exciting that people are talking about freaking Nik Lentz and Dennis Bermudez. I told Cub and Frankie, ‘Don’t worry about anything you hear with all the Conor McGregor talk and all the other stuff. You worry about Cub Swanson and you worry about Frankie Edgar.’ Believe me, the fact that people are arguing over who should get a title shot in the 145-pound division isn’t a bad thing. It’s a good thing.”

Dana White appeared on ESPN SportsCenter earlier today to talk about Saturday's UFC 154 event. Recently there was a report from Tatame where Anderson Silva said he plans on taking most of 2013 off and wouldn't be going to the fight on Saturday to challenge champion Georges St. Pierre if he were to defeat Carlos Condit.

Dana White on Anderson Silva's attendance at the event this weekend: "Anderson Silva will be there this Saturday watching, and if (St-Pierre) wins it'll be a huge fight for us. It'll probably be the biggest fight in UFC history. It'll definitely be the biggest gate. We've done (55,000) up in Toronto with Georges before. We've had big gates pretty much everywhere we've gone, but this one would be either a soccer stadium down in Brazil, Dallas' Texas Stadium, or we'd do Toronto again."

Dana White on Anderson Silva saying he wasn't going to challenge GSP if he won and that he would take most of 2013 off: "He said he wouldn't fight Chael Sonnen again either, but he did. He always comes out and says this stuff. I don't know why he does it or why he says the things he says. I guarantee you, he will be there Saturday. If Georges St-Pierre wins, those two will fight and it'll probably be in May."

On bringing a potential GSP/Silva super fight to a stadium: "We're curious to see what we could do. We've been wanting to bring a fight there for a long time. This fight would be the fight to do it. Hopefully we'd sell it out."
