Rick Story's (14-5 MMA, 7-3 UFC) Twitter, he will meet Demian Maia (16-4 MMA, 10-4 UFC) at UFC 153.
The event takes place on October 13 at the HSBC Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. It will air on PPV and FX. In the main event, featherweight champion Jose Aldo will defend against Erik Koch.
Story ended a two fight losing streak this past month when he defeated Brock Jardine by unanimous decision at UFC on FX 4 in Atlantic City, New Jersey. He previously had back-to-back losses to Charlie Brenneman (at UFC on Versus 4 in June 2011) and Martin Kampmann (at UFC 139 in November). Both were due to decision. The Brenneman loss ended a six fight win streak built over the course of two years.
Maia, meanwhile, knocked out Dong Hyun Kim at UFC 148 in the first round in Las Vegas. He slammed Kim, which injured him and got him the victory in 47 seconds. Maia has been 3-2 since a loss to Anderson Silva at UFC 112. After wins against Mario Miranda, Kendall Grove and Jorge Santiago, he lost to Mark Munoz and Chris Weidman.
