Ben Rothwell Talks UFC On FOX 4 Bout

Ben Rothwell recently spoke about his UFC on FOX 4 bout with Travis Browne, here are the highlights…

On Getting to Fight on FOX: "This is exciting for me because it is a statement," he said. "The ratings have kind of been all over the place. I don't think the ratings have been as strong as they could be. I think Aug. 4 is going to be a good card, for sure. I think it's going to be a turning point."

On Getting Into Better Shape: "In the shape that I'm in at 265, and some of these guys are fast at 240 (or) 235 pounds, they feel they have an advantage," Rothwell said. "Well, what happens when one of the guys who's 265 who's in just as good of shape if not better than the guys who are 240 and used to being faster? What are they going to do when the guy who's the biggest in the division is faster than them, more conditioned than them, (and) has better technique than them? People are going to start crying real soon."

What Will The Winner of The Fight Get?: "I'll openly say, the winner of this fight is going to go on and win the heavyweight title."
