Hendricks vs. Kampmann Set For UFC 154

UFC President Dana White announced on Friday that the promotion is currently targeting a fight between Johny Hendricks and Martin Kampmann, which will possibly be the co-main event for the upcoming UFC 154. The event is scheduled to take place on November 17 at Bell Centre in Montreal.

If this fight is made official, it will be the co-main event to an expected headliner between undisputed champion Georges St-Pierre and interim champion Carlos Condit.

A source close to the event said that this welterweight fight would be a contingency plan in case St-Pierre – who is still recovering from a torn ACL – cannot fight in November.
