UFC President Dana White addressed the rumors of a knee injury to Anderson Silva, who is headlining UFC 148 with a rematch against Chael Sonnen.
Muliple Brazilian outlets reported that the middleweight champion injured himself in training. Silva posted on Twitter that he was okay and that he would fight Sonnen as scheduled.
White said the rumors are "…completely false. Not true at all."
UFC 148 takes place on July 7 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The rematch was supposed to headline UFC 147 on June 23 in a soccer stadium in Brazil, but the fight had to be moved due to logistical problems.
